Billy Washington, Wayne Foster, Patrick Jackson & all-star band
They merged the sound of soul with the roots of rock & roll. Under the Boardwalk, On Broadway, Saturday Night at the Movies, This Magic Moment, Like Sister and Brother: just some of the songs that have made the Drifters a household name since the 50s.
Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, this is the group credited with the first rock & roll record (Money Honey). While the hits have been constant, the members of the Drifters have always drifted in and out. But Billy Washington has been with the group since he was a young man and he maintains the original sound we remember. Billy is joined by Wayne Foster (25 years in the Drifters) and Patrick Jackson (25 years in The Coasters) and backed by an all-star band.
Save the last dance for me.
