Raised on a farm in rural South Australia and a graduate of the Elder Conservatorium, vocalist and pianist Janet Seidel now tours internationally singing classic jazz standards with effortless sophistication. She has recorded eleven successful CDs and been nominated for three ARIA Awards.

A heartfelt tribute to the ageing (but still performing) Blossom Dearie. When Janet first saw her perform in the 70s, it had a profound influence on both her music and sense of humour. As The New York Times put it Blossom's 'endearing feyness camouflages a poisoned hatpin'. Now Janet can relate her story and sing her most loved songs, backed by Chuck Morgan on guitar and brother David Seidel on double bass.

If you like the sound of Dear Blossom, you might also enjoy Before Time Could Change Us, The Art Of Lounge or Wild Women Don't Get The Blues.
