TAKE FLIGHT

The Adelaide Cabaret Festival is excited to announce the all-Australian guest cast for Take Flight:

Recipient of a Green Room Award, Helpmann Award and a Mo Award for Best Actress in a leading role in a musical for Oliver, Tamsin Carroll is Amelia Earhart.

Known for his roles in television, film and on the stage Simon Burke stars as George Putnam.
Star of TV's The Secret Life of Us and the musical Footloose Spencer McLaren is Charles Lindbergh.
Playing the Wright Brothers are David Harris and one of the stars of the 2004 Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Eddie Perfect.

The soloists will be directed by Richard Maltby Jnr, with musical direction by Caroline Humphries and music and orchestrations by David Shire and will be accompanied by the 21-strong Adelaide Art Orchestra and an 8-voice ensemble including Adelaide's own Catherine Campbell, David Lampard, Ben Rasheed and Carolyn Ferrie, and 2004 Adelaide Cabaret Festival performers Tony McGill of Combo Fiasco and Avigail Herman star of Follow The Yellow Brick Road.

Consume fabulous food and drinks in all the venues (except the Dunstan Playhouse or during The Bar at Buena Vista). A selection of great bar plates for two (starting from $20) and eminently quaffable Festival red or white wines from Fox Creek are available through BASS on 08 8400 2222.

Enjoy modern cuisine in the Backstage Bistro; cool music, funky cocktails and snacks in Lyrics Lounge or enjoy a light meal, bubbles and cake and relax at Scenarios.
