This is a significant collaboration between one of Australia's most respected singer/songwriter partnerships and the innovative, contemporary sound of the Australian Art Orchestra led by Paul Grabowsky.

Ruby Hunter and Archie Roach courageously sing us their inspiring personal story: a journey out of the wilderness of the stolen generation. It charts Ruby's search for identity, the discovery of hope through love, and Ruby and Archie's return to the river, to build a new life and a new home, to mend the wounds of the past and to take up again her people's responsibilities for the landscape which nurtured them.
