Student Tix

The Adelaide Festival Centre wants more young people - the audiences of tomorrow - to be involved in activities and events that are relevant to them.

Participation in arts and culture provides the opportunity for young people to develop their minds and spirits so that they can contribute in a more meaningful way to our community.

The Adelaide Festival Centre's new Student Tix program enables primary, secondary and tertiary students under 25 to purchase a limited number of half-price tickets to Adelaide Festival Centre presented events they might not otherwise have been able to afford.  These include (but are not limited to) performances in the CentreStage, Pivotal and Transmi:ission seasons, and selected events at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, The Adelaide International Guitar Festival, and the OzAsia Festival.

The Adelaide Festival Centre Foundation has provided the seed funding for this initiative, and the more funds contributed by sponsors and donors, the more students can reap the benefits.

If you would like to play your part in connecting students to the delight and wonder of the performing arts, please contact:

If you are a student under 25 years, you can take advantage of Student Tix half-price tickets by quoting your student number when calling BASS, or showing your student card when visiting a BASS outlet.  Tickets will be held for collection, and will require presentation of your student card.

Student Tix - Proudly supported by Australian Executor Trustees

For more than 100 years, Australian Executor Trustees (AET) has been providing peace of mind to South Australians by looking after their financial interests. It’s a role and responsibility of which our South Australian based company is extremely proud.

As a recognised leader in wills, trusts, agencies and financial advising, AET has looked after the individual and financial needs of generations of South Australians and their families.

One of the key reasons for our success and longevity always has been putting our clients first. The very nature of special services requires us to listen closely to our clients first and then tailor a solution that meets their individual needs. This is why we have survived for over 100 years.

AET prides itself on doing that better than anyone else – that is why our company had no hesitation in assisting the Adelaide Festival Centre (AFC) for 2012.

AET also considers that the AFC does it better that anyone else. The AFC is an iconic arts entity in this State with experience, expertise and integrity - these values are of the upmost importance in the current social and economic climate.  As the AFC is also making every effort to reach out to all members of our South Australian community, our company is pleased to be associated with the Student Tix  and Morning Melodies programs.

I am certain the relationship between the two proud South Australian entities will be mutually beneficial to all concerned.
