Bistro

Bistro by the food business
a hidden river gem waiting to be discovered

Having won the ‘Best Contemporary Australian Restaurant (SA) Award 2008’, ‘Best Corporate Caterer (SA) 2009’ and being recently named as a finalist across three categories in the 2010 Restaurant & Catering SA Awards, we will bring your dining experience here at the Festival Centre to new heights.

Bistro by the food business is a 140-seater restaurant with unrivalled River Torrens views, offering highly memorable experiences with a tantalising seasonal a la carte menu accompanied by quality service and can accommodate up to 400 guests for a stand-up function. Alternatively, a catering package can be tailored to suit any occasion, be it a stunning wedding, anniversary, milestone birthday, conference, product launch with finger food or a casual sit-down lunch or dinner all overlooking the River Torrens.

The modern Australian cuisine covers a global spectrum of tastes, using the freshest local top-shelf produce. Some of the ingredients used are grown in the garden at the back of the food business’ Hazelwood Park restaurant.

Book a sumptuous two-course dinner from our Express Menu @ $50 per person including a glass of wine – perfect for pre and post theatre dining.

For the month of August, book a table of four or more and receive a complimentary bottle of wine.
