These spectacular shows and more have relied on the expertise and creativity of the Adelaide Festival Centre Scenery and Engineering Workshops, internationally recognised as the foremost theatre construction facility in the Southern Hemisphere.
Some of the world's largest musicals and arena spectaculars have been designed and built from two workshops located in Adelaide, South Australia. Our Dry Creek Workshop looks after the scenery building and set electrics, props and special effects while our Gepps Cross Workshop handles all our stage engineering and stage automation design and build projects.
From our beginnings as designers and builders of successful national shows, the AFC Workshops continued to expand through co-productions with the world's leading producers, and increasingly sophisticated stage productions for the Australasian market.
