Volunteering at AFC

Volunteers play a key role in the success of the Adelaide Festival Centre.   This group of people – who come from all walks of life and boast very diverse backgrounds – are united in two key ways: they all have a passion for the arts and have an unwavering commitment to helping the AFC achieve its mission:

- To be the heart of the Festival State
- To be the best Arts Centre in the country

Our aspiration is for a City and State that is a hub of arts excellence and acknowledged as such - locally, nationally and internationally.

The Adelaide Festival Centre should be at the core and a key driver of this positioning for SA.

There are many volunteering opportunities at the Adelaide Festival Centre which are suited to people with different time commitments.  We are keen to have volunteers participate in taking guided tours (training is provided), welcome patrons to the centre at special events and via the Information Booth located in Festival Theatre foyer, help with office support, and cataloguing in the Performing Arts Collection.
