is a unique view of graphic work being made by Aboriginal artists in remote South Australia. The exhibition of prints represents a selection of original works made over the last decade by Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjara artists in workshops in collaboration with master printmakers.

Numerous printmaking workshops have been held in remote Art Centres of far north South Australia introducing silkscreen, etching and various forms of relief printing. South Australian Impressions features prints from Ernabella Arts, Pukatja; Kaltjiti Arts, Fregon; Iwantja Arts, Indulkana and Ninuku Arts, Kalka. In particular, several of the Milpatjunanyi series (sand stories) of prints produced at Ernabella Arts with Basil Hall Editions will be featured in this exhibition.

In all their variety, the prints in this exhibition demonstrate the skill with which Indigenous artists have continued to adapt to new media to tell the stories of their Land and Culture.
