Through the dual construction of a house and a relationship, construct fixes a wicked gaze filled with humour on ambition and the curious connections between building a home, a relationship and a future.
Ex-Adelaide choreographer Tanja Liedtke's final work was initially assisted by Adelaide Festival Centre's inSPACE program in its development in 2005, the show was commissioned by London's Southbank Centre and premiered there to critical acclaim in May 2007 followed by a UK tour. The show went on to enjoy a sell-out season at the 2008 Sydney Festival, going on to win two 2008 Helpmann Awards for Dance. We are deeply honoured to have it return to us as an award winning full production.
