2010 CHRISTMAS PROMS

There won’t be any “Bah! Humbug!” this December at the Festival Theatre only a ‘good ol’ fashioned Christmas as the Adelaide Festival Centre’s Christmas Proms will take on a Dickensian theme this year, with special guests Rhonda Burchmore and PJ Lane on 17 and 18 December.

Joining them will be the ever-popular 34-piece Adelaide Art Orchestra, and 16-part Adelaide Vocal Project, conducted by Timothy Sexton, with the beloved Festival Theatre Silver Jubilee Organ once again making a guest appearance, played by Peter Kelsall.
 
There will be more than “A Christmas Carol” actually quite a few!  Be prepared for all your favourites and even some musical theatre glamour with plenty of laughs along the way with clowns Moose and Boppa.  A special feature will be a performance by the Mount Torrens Hand-bell Ringers, made up of students from both the Spring Head Trinity Lutheran Primary School and Mount Torrens Primary School.

So don’t be a “Scrooge” bring the whole family and get along to this years Christmas Proms presented by the Adelaide Festival Centre  and celebrate the spirit of Christmas.
