Brooke Fraser’s January 2011 Australian tour is already one of the most eagerly awaited concert returns of the summer.

While the Kiwi-born songbird has made Sydney her home for the past few years, she has been too long away from our stages since her breakthrough Gold selling second album Albertine.

However her current smash single “Something In The Water” and new album Flags have announced Brooke’s return in some style. With the single all over the airwaves and the album debuting at number 3 in the Aussie album charts, Brooke’s huge and loyal fanbase will be delighted by the news that Brooke is back in town this January.

Flags, like Albertine, was recorded in Los Angeles and Brooke brings her American based band down for these special shows in January.

Lavishly praised in the local media and New Zealand of course, USA Today also loved Flags, saying Brooke’s “delicate soprano and an affinity for tender melodies and sentiments may make her an unlikely hipster… her tunes have a sparkle that sneaks up on you; for the uninitiated, they're bound to be one of this year's happier surprises.”
