The program, involving public primary students in both choral and instrumental settings, is seen as a showcase of excellence for the Department of Education and Children's Services.
Students from over 250 metropolitan and rural schools are involved in the choirs, 140 students in 3 orchestras, a 50 member dance/drama troupe and approximately 80 Assisting Artists from Primary and Secondary Schools.
The performances offer a stylistically varied program of music, both modern and traditional from around the world.
