Conductor and Broadcaster Graham Abbott presents his biggest and most ambitious
Keys To Music concert ever with the ASO and Chief Conductor Arvo Volmer.
For the first time, a full concert will be devoted to exploring one magnificent work: Mahler's gigantic Sixth Symphony.
In the first half Graham, Arvo and the ASO will explore the symphony's first three movements. Then, after interval, the massive finale (which on its own is as long as most symphonies) will be discussed and then played complete.
This will be a unique opportunity to hear the inner workings of one of Mahler's most complex and gigantic scores.
