Who better to present a night of great music from the silver screen than the world's favourite interviewer, Sir Michael Parkinson?
For the first time, the TV legend joins the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra live on stage to guide you through the golden age of cinema.
Sharing stories from 35 years of interviewing movie stars, Parkinson introduces music he loves from film classics including The Godfather, Casablanca, Ben Hur, The Magnificent Seven, Mission Impossible, Goldfinger and many more.
Guy Noble will conduct the ASO in music from film score icons including John Barry, Irvin Berlin, Rogers and Hart, John Williams, Lalo Schifrin and Henry Mancini. Joining the two on stage will be Jo Lawry who will perform songs from Parky's favourite movies.
