Annalisa Feleppa - On The Red Carpet

Annalisa Feleppa's exhibtion On The Red Carpet forms part of the ongoing Photography Program at the Adelaide Festival Centre. Born in Australia Annalisa has been practising contemporary photographic art for the past nine years, achieving within this period, a large body of work, exclusively expressing visual notions of femininity within the realities of domesticity, nostalgia and pop culture. Through the uses of symbolism and representational scenarios, Annalisa Feleppa presents her audience with a strong and slightly fairytale aesthetic. In this series the rose is used as a primary symbol to represent the female or feminine.
