Antonio Fava is the world expert of the 16th Century professional art form, 'Commedia dell'Arte,' which gave birth to many art forms we know today including Ballet, Physical Theatre, Slapstick Comedy and Pantomime.

Antonio Fava is the director of the International School of the Comic Actor in Italy as well as an author and internationally acclaimed performer. He also designs and makes his own leather masks, depicting the authentic Commedia dell'Arte form from not only the Northern Commedia, as known all over the world, but also Southern, Pastorale and the Opera Reggia forms. 

Antonio's hand-made leather Commedia masks will be displayed in the outer Festival Theatre foyer.
