Michael Yuen

In Follow, Michael Yuen paid fifty people to follow him throughout the day. He went about his usual day meeting with friends, artists, curators, shopping and visiting the bank. The crowd swelled to a hundred in Yuen's experimenting with the public and public spaces in densely visual and auditory cityscapes. The crowd temporarily blocked streets and sidewalks as they progressed through the city. It was a pilgrimage, a protest, a crowd of fans, a mob and a march.
