VISUAL ARTS EXHIBITION
An exhibition featuring Ngurratjuta Many Hands Art Centre watercolours by Albert Namatjira descendants, ceramics from Hermannsburg Potters and, for the first time, large scale portraits created during Big hART’s Namatjira performances. This is a one off opportunity to enrich portrait collections around the country with exclusive, highest calibre works by Robert Hannaford, Michael Peck, Evert Ploeg, celebrating Australia’s first Aboriginal citizen, the man who inspired the first Aboriginal art movements. The exhibition shows these new works alongside archival works by Namatjira and his sons. New watercolour works and painted ceramics in this exhibition are a testament to Namatjira’s legacy and are available to purchase.
