Before Idol and X Factor…there was A Chorus Line!
Ok you Glee fans, this is a MUST SEE for everyone who’s ever had a dream and put it all on the line! This is THE ORIGINAL reality audition for 17 dancers and their chance of a lifetime to be cast for a new Broadway musical. Winner of nine Tony Awards, including ‘Best Musical’ and the Pulitzer Prize for drama.
This will resonate with any of you GreenRoomers who are artists who have been to auditions and understand that all your hard work, every drop of sweat, every hour of training of your life comes down to this moment! All of the cast has been through the hard slog behind the scenes just like their characters. One of these is Rohan Browne who plays Greg Gardner in A Chorus Line - A sassy, “pretty-boy” Jewish gay man who divulges his first experience with a woman. You might recognise him from his stint as Riff in West Side Story which played in Adelaide in Festival Theatre in January. Check his story out below.
This musical is such a classic and still so relevant and fresh. You will feel very satisfied to tick it off your ‘must see’ list AND the best thing is that GreenRoomers get to see it for only $45! So you save up to $60 per ticket! Don’t forget you can bring a friend for the same price as long as they are 30yrs or under (ID required). Limited tix so be quick!
So You Think You Can Dance has nothing on this!
