Something on Saturdays Foundation Corner Art Workshops

An important part of our audience development program is offering free and engaging workshops for children at Something on Saturdays Foundation Kids Corner for children aged three -10 years from May to September every year. These free workshops provide a different art activity each week, linked to the performance. They encourage creativity and are an important investment in the audiences of today and the future. Foundation Funded Family Event at the Theatre

To ensure all families can access performances at Adelaide Festival Centre, the Foundation regularly hosts a special family performance and a pre-show party for groups that would otherwise find it difficult to attend a show at the Festival Centre. Past groups that have attended a performance and party for free include Grandparents for Grandchildren Inc, New Arrivals program, and Families SA. Donate now.

GreenRoom Youth Membership Program

Adelaide Festival Centre’s membership program for young people aged 16 - 30 offering an exclusive ‘backstage’ pass to the Festival Centre and the arts. GreenRoom members have the opportunity to rub shoulders with artists, network with the crew and gain hands on experience in arts and events through the advocacy program. Donate now.

Adelaide International Guitar Competition

The biennial competition is an opportunity for emerging professional classical guitar players to be heard and given exposure on an international platform with total prizes to the value of $30,000, putting it on par with the world’s most prestigious competitions. Donate now.

The Student Tix program gives school students the opportunity to purchase tickets to events presented by Adelaide Festival Centre at a discount. Promotion of Students Tix is primarily via centrED, the Festival Centre education programs for schools. Donate now.
