Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists living in South Australia are invited to apply for OUR MOB, a unique and outstanding exhibition of Aboriginal art across a wide range of media. Students and artists under the age of 18 are also invited to apply for OUR YOUNG MOB.
Since 2006, Adelaide Festival Centre has showcased the quality and diversity of art created by South Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, boosting the careers of numerous artists and generating direct-to-artist sales to support their art practices.
Entry for selection is free, and prizes include; $5,000 Don Dunstan Foundation OUR MOB Emerging Artist Prize 2019, $1,500 Country Arts SA Regional OUR MOB Emerging Artist Professional Development Award and OUR YOUNG MOB Award – art materials donated by Ku Arts awarded to an artist/student under the age of 18.
OUR MOB 2019 will take place from 23 August until 3 October in Adelaide Festival Centre’s QBE Galleries. Works on display will be available for sale.
