Located in the northern end of the Adelaide Railway Station concourse are eight Historic Phone Booths that home site-responsive exhibitions.

Through a partnership with Renewal SA and Adelaide Festival Centre’s Exhibitions & Collections team the Phone Booths provide a year-round program of curated exhibitions. Exhibitions include solo and group exhibitions of artworks and collection items from the Adelaide Festival Centre’s Works of Art and Performing Arts Collection, as well as commissioned exhibitions by local South Australian artists working across disciplines including photography, painting, drawing, ceramics, weaving and textiles, glass and jewellery, sculpture and installation. The exhibition program often bridges with other arts festivals and exciting exhibitions showing concurrently in alternative locations across Adelaide Festival Centre exhibiting spaces and partnership organisations.
