Lily Baulderstone: Ensemble

Lily grew up in the Adelaide Hills and attended Mercedes College. She did her local training as a child at Australian Girls Choir and Gravity Dance Studios and professional training at Victorian College of the Arts.

It feels so special to be performing in my hometown especially because I saw my first show here at the Festival Theatre when I was 12.

I’ve always dreamt of performing on the Festival Theatre stage and never thought it would be a reality and now there’s three of us from South Australia performing in 9 to 5 the Musical, which makes it even sweeter.

Jordan Tomljenovic: Josh / Ensemble

Jordan grew up in Blair Athol and attended Scotch College. He did his local training at Precision Dance and Mighty Good Talent School and professional training and Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.

One of the coolest things about being in 9 to 5 is watching and learning from the fabulously experienced leads we have in the cast. I’ve learned so much from watching them perform each night from side stage.

This is my professional musical theatre debut and is something I’ve dreamed about since I was 5 years old - getting to work back home in Adelaide in front of family and friends is a highlight.

Matthew Prime: Dwayne / Ensemble

Matthew grew up in Panorama and attended Scotch College. He did his local training with Adelaide dance and vocal teachers Bec Schembri, Rosie Hosking and often performed in shows with Pelican Productions. Matthew completed his professional training at Victorian College of the Arts.

It feels super special to be performing at the Festival Theatre especially after COVID, it feels amazing to be able to bring this show to my home crowd.

I think 9 To 5 is so much fun, the cast are all having so much fun on stage and I hope that comes across to the audience, people will have a really good time while getting an important message.

My advice to aspiring performers in Adelaide is to keep training, keep working hard and take as much advice as you can from as many people in the industry as you can. There are plenty of amazing teachers in Adelaide with a lot of experience and they can help prepare you for the industry.

Don't miss it!

9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL is on now and must close 5 November.
