Experience the power of song for National Reconciliation Week

Grandmothers Songs

Presented by Adelaide Festival Centre

Performed during National Reconciliation Week, Ngaanyatjarra singer-songwriter Vonda Last presents Grandmothers Songs, a collection of new and unrecorded original songs inspired by the stories, knowledge and memories of Aboriginal Grandmothers. This special performance explores their journey through culture, time and space. Accompanied by renowned Adelaide composer and musician Julian Ferraretto and the Pocket String Quartet.

“Vonda Last is a conduit for community storytelling through song. She has a way of sharing that is so gentle.” Nancy Bates
