centrED’s annual dance day has proven to be a motivating event to start the year for Year 11 & 12 students. Whether students want to pursue dance as a subject, or as a career, they should find the day inspiring and educational.
The day consists of
- Technique classes in a range of genres
- A special industry presentation
- Tips on how to successfully manage the SACE dance curriculum
Participants must wear appropriate dance gear. They are also expected to understand safe dance practices and dance class procedures.
Teachers hold the duty of care and must supervise their attending students at all times.
The day is busy, so we ask that all students and teachers bring their recess and lunch as there will not be the opportunity to leave the grounds.
I really enjoyed the contemporary class, it gave me a chance to work on my weaknesses and have fun. Student, 2017
