Best of Libby O’Donovan at Adelaide Festival Centre with brand-new show

Wednesday, 03 November 2021

Powerhouse vocalist Libby O’Donovan returns to Adelaide Festival Centre with a brand-new celebratory show, 20 Years, 20 Songs, this November as part of Feast Festival 2021.

The retrospective show shines a light on Libby’s extraordinary career performing Jazz, Cabaret, Musical Theatre and original music.

Libby will reminisce on all her best moments, stories and fashion, highlighting her greatest and most hilarious photos, videos and memories from the past 20 years.

Accompanied on piano by celebrated Adelaide composer and pianist Mark Ferguson, Libby will sing through a wide range of classics as well as songs from her critically acclaimed self-penned albums The Complication, Home To You and Back to Broken Hill.

I’m thrilled to be presenting this one-off show in Adelaide as part of Feast Festival. I love this festival and Adelaide Festival Centre, so to combine the two is certainly an honour.

This show is going to be just the way I like it, fun and loose with a sense of true intimacy and connection. I love the unexpected, so if you come along and call out a request, I’ll probably do it!

— Libby O’Donovan
