This is a major art prize initiated by the Adelaide Park Lands Preservation Association to highlight through art, the beauty and fragility of the Park Land belt that surrounds the city of Adelaide.

The winners will share in $38,500 Prize Money; a $20,000 First Prize, $2,000 APPA Young Artist’s Prize, $1,500 People’s Choice Prize and 10 x $1,500 prizes

Adelaide is the world’s only city in a Park; a design heritage that requires recognition and conservation. The Park Lands are continually under threat from private and commercial interests but they belong to everyone.
