Can a costume tell a story before a word of dialogue is spoken? Female Archetypes explores the impact costumes can have on an audience’s understanding of character. From the Performing Arts Collection, this display will showcase costumes from opera, theatre, dance and musical theatre worn by infamous female characters of the stage.
