The tutu is the most famous and idolised style of dance costume, worn by ballerinas and modern dancers alike. For Twelve Tutus the Performing Arts Collection has assembled exciting pieces from across dance genres and decades. The earliest, a 1956 Ballet Rambert tutu through to contemporary tutus from iconic Australian Dance Theatre performances.
