Getting Here

With redevelopment works underway, access to venues has changed.

Festival Theatre The only access point for Festival Theatre is the new entrance along the Walk of Fame at Elder Park and King William Road. Access via the Riverbank Footbridge or King William Road. The Walk of Fame and northern promenade is a smooth, stair free path connecting King William Road and the Riverbank Footbridge and providing access to all of Adelaide Festival Centre's venues.

Dunstan Playhouse, Space Theatre, Artspace Gallery, and the Bistro are best accessed from the northern end of the Riverbank Footbridge on War Memorial Drive (walk across the footbridge to Dunstan Playhouse) or from the Intercontinental Hotel on North Terrace (walk north between the railway station and the hotel). An accessible drop off area with two disability access parking spaces is accessible from Montefiore Road via Festival Drive (west). Please note there is no stair-free access to the Artspace Gallery.
