Bookings made easy in one of two ways. Through the BASS school booking form or managed by DECD Education Managers for free events.
- PAID EVENTS: If you're booking for a paid show or workshop you can download and fill out the BASS School Booking Form. Follow the instructions on the form to submit. Please ensure you fill out ALL information. BASS will confirm your booking within a reasonable timeframe and an invoice will be sent to you for payment.
Teachers must pay for events within a week of the event or they will lose the booking and preference will go to the next school on the waiting list. Tickets will be sent to your nominated contact or can be collected from BASS at the venue on the day.
- FREE EVENTS: If you're booking a free tour, workshop, learning experience or activity managed by the DECD Education Manager, a specific booking form will be provided and any inquiries should go to the Education Manager:
P: 8216 8861
Once the completed form or booking enquiry is received by appropriate Education Manager, she will confirm within a reasonable timeframe via email or phone.
NOTE: Teachers should always alert centrED Education Managers to the educational objectives and learning context of each visit.
Our student program enables schools to purchase a limited number of $15 discounted tickets to Adelaide Festival Centre presented performances. Please use the School Booking Form to access.
Every year centrED distribute their program to all South Australian schools so that teachers of all year levels can access information about booking shows with the discounted $15 tickets. More information on the centrED program here.
Adelaide Festival Centre and centrED are committed to equity and access for all South Australian students by providing a limited amount of $7.50 Equity tickes as well as other benefits such as transport for students from disadvantaged schools. If a show or activity has an Equity price it will be shown in the pricing details.
The centrED Equity Program provides an opportunity for disadvantaged schools to access excellent in-theatre performances. Interested schools are invited to contact the DECD Education Manager at Adelaide Festival Centre for more information (see above).
The Equity Program is supported by the Department for Education and Child Development, Adelaide Festival Centre Foundation and major sponsor Australian Executor Trustees and the more funds contributed by sponsors and donors, the more students can reap the benefits.
