Our spacious venues within Adelaide Festival Centre and Her Majesty's Theatre provide the perfect atmosphere for your next event, from special occasions to corporate functions, large or small.
In addition to our spaces at Adelaide Festival Centre that overlook the River Torrens, our venue has been enhanced with our new Plaza precinct overlooking Elder Park and the picturesque Government House. In the heart of the city, our grand Her Majesty's Theatre offers a breathtaking roof-top alternative with views over the city and the vibrant Grote Street precinct. This space also houses our Ian & Pamela Wall Gallery which is regularly updated by our Performing Arts Collection team.
Our experienced events team will help bring your event to life, accompanied by our in-house catering team who will make sure your guests are blown away with our selection of delicious food and refreshments with a focus on local South Australian produce and brands.

With floor to ceiling windows the Banquet Room has plenty of natural light and beautiful views of the River Torrens and Elder Park. The wide, open, pillar-free design means there’s no obstructed views for up to 320 guests seated banquet-style, or 550 guests in a cocktail or theatre format. The room can also be divided into two smaller rooms to accommodate many different styles of events.
With its own private entrance that can accommodate pre-event canapes, this venue is sure to create a memorable experience.
Located at the Eastern end of Adelaide Festival Centre’s Riverbank venues, the Banquet Room can be accessed externally via the Walk of Fame or via the new Festival Theatre King William Road Entrance.

After sunset, the colourful backdrop of Adelaide Oval would be perfect for your next cocktail function.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
We do have some restrictions, they are:
- No candles to be placed on the floor at any time or in any form.
- A fire warden or duty operator is required to be present, at an additional cost, if any type of candles are used including free standing, naked pillar stand, candelabra, votive, tea lights, etc.
- Minimal tea lights, votive or pillar candles must all be contained within a holder where the wick height does not exceed the holder. These cannot be placed on the floor and must sit on a table or equivalent holder.
- Smoke machines and fireworks are permitted. A fire warden or duty operator is also required to be present at an additional cost.
- The use of confetti or glitter is not permitted.
- No blu-tac or adhesives are to be used on the walls.

At Adelaide Festival Centre, parking is available at both Festival Plaza Car Park and the Convention Centre Car Park.
At Her Majesty's Theatre, there are many parking options around the Grote Street precinct, including on Pitt St, at Adelaide Central Market, and Wilson Parking on Franklin Street.
