Behind the Scenes Tours

Adelaide Festival Centre

The Festival Theatre is the largest proscenium arch theatre in Adelaide, seating close to 2000 people across three levels. Join us as we take you behind the scenes of this iconic theatre that has hosted a range of exceptional performers over its years. This tour also includes a tour of other artistic spaces including Dunstan Playhouse, Space Theatre, and Adelaide Festival Centre’s exhibition spaces.

Her Majesty's Theatre

The Her Majesty's Theatre redevelopment is now complete! The Maj is truly a world class theatre, with state-of-the-art lighting and sound technology, the widest proscenium arch and deepest fly tower of any commercial theatre in Australia, and a rehearsal room the same size as the stage itself. Theatre has been reinvigorated, returning her to world-class status – seating 1500 people across three levels!

A small, technical tour led by production staff. A great opportunity for students to learn how our theatres work and ask questions of professionals.
