Subsidy programs available for regional and equity schools.

Adelaide Festival Centre’s centrED offers ticket and transport subsidies for eligible schools. Learn more or apply.

In the enchanted Hu木an, which means forest in Malay, wiggle your fingers and toes through textured leaves, smell the flowers, and play hide-and-seek with Hornbill.

Spot Owl under the moonlight and help Kingfisher look after her eggs. Even passing rain brings cheeky Gibbons with a tropical fruit picnic for their new friends.

Inspired by some of the works in Tails from the Coasts, Hutan is a multisensory, inclusive adventure for children with access needs and their friends.

Each performance of Hu木an accommodates up to 30 students and their educators.

Please use the “Apply now” button to complete an expression of interest form for your school group. This is an application – schools will be informed whether they have been selected by the end of Week 8 (T3).

This program is FREE and schools that would like to have greater engagement with cultural programs, but have budget limitations that prevent this, are encouraged to apply. We also encourage special options classes or groups with significant numbers of neurodiverse students to apply. Travel subsidies will be available for eligible sites.

Noel Lothian Hall Adelaide Botanic Garden

Adelaide Botanic Garden is wheelchair accessible from all entrance gates except for the Hackney Gate off Hackney Road due to its gradient.

The Garden has paved and bitumen paths running throughout the Garden.  There are some areas that have gravel or sawdust pathways. Most of the Garden is flat, though there are some steep pathways leading to the Sunken Garden and Threatened Seed Orchard.
