Through a series of embodied listening tasks, sound memory exercises, spatial reconstruction, and movement-text improvisations, participants will engage with the ways sound shapes attention, evokes memory, and interacts with the body in time and space. Rather than adding sound to an already-formed performance, we will investigate how performance might emerge from sound.

This approach will be of interest to artists who are seeking alternative ways to construct meaning in performance - through rhythm, delay, repetition, and fragmentation, rather than through traditional narrative or choreography.

The workshop welcomes participants interested in theatre, performance, dance, movement, and sound design. Whether you work with dance, acting, devised performance, or dramaturgy, you are invited to explore how sound can become a thinking tool and generative structure in your creative process.
