Brought to you by Nylon Zoo as part of this year’s OzAsia Festival, Little Lanterns Day Out encourages imagination and play in the natural setting of the Moon Lantern Trail.
This 70-minute workshop begins with dress ups in hand-crafted costumes, before students parade around the trail and settle into an inflatable creature for story time. Following this, students will work with artist Ruby Chew for a paper lantern-making session.
Please use the “Apply Now” button to complete an expression of interest form for your school group. This is an application – schools will be informed whether they have been selected by the end of Week 8 (T3).
This program is FREE and schools that would like to have greater engagement with cultural programs, but have budget limitations that prevent this, are encouraged to apply, including Department for Education IoED Category 1-4 schools and regional schools.

Pinky Flat, where the Moon Lantern Trail will be held, is located near to Adelaide Oval on War Memorial Drive, North Adelaide.
There are several car parks available in the area, including time limited street parking on War Memorial Drive (to the west of Montefiore Road). The Adelaide Convention Centre Car Park and Festival Car Park are both located across the river and are accessible via the footbridge.
