Adelaide Festival Centre’s Performing Arts Collection is a rich, diverse, and ever-evolving archive that records and displays the history of performing arts in South Australia. The Collection was established in 1979, with the aim to preserve, record and display the remarkable contributions South Australians have made on stage and behind-the-scenes.  

Established in 1974, Adelaide Festival Centre’s Works of Art Collection is an expansive and important collection of artworks by leading Australian and international artists.  

The Collection is showcased throughout our buildings and grounds and comprises of a diverse range of artworks, including paintings, sculptures, photography, textiles, and moving image works. 

By donating to our Exhibitions and Collections Programs, you will provide crucial support for the preservation, conservation, and accessibility of our Performing Arts Collection and Works of Art Collection.
