Families

Adelaide Festival Centre is a great place for family fun.

Two people dressed up in colourful flamboyant costumes with big hats, in colours of lime green, pink and purple.

As well as some of the biggest touring shows and our local favourites, you’ll find a great range of free and low-cost workshops, performances, and installations to enjoy.

It’s our way of making sure families have an affordable and accessible way to be a part of our family.

Some of our programs have limited spaces. Be the first to learn about what we have on offer by signing up to hear from us.

What's On for Families

Children’s Artspace

A brand-new space for all children, students, and families to come and share ideas and engage in art created by South Australian children.

A colourful gallery space, featuring exhibition 'Kaleidoscope' written on the back wall.

Visiting with children? Here’s a few things to note.

  • Parenting rooms and baby change facilities are available in the Dunstan Playhouse foyer. Change facilities are located on every level of Her Majesty's Theatre.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Children under 12 months do not require a ticket when seated on a parent or guardian’s lap.
