A Daughter’s Tribute to Dr. Nina Simone Big Band Concert

Dame Lisa Simone’s voice and prowess as a live entertainer has not only earned her worldwide recognition, but practically every accolade, including starring roles on Broadway and chart-topping albums.

Adelaide Festival Centre is proud to present this highly anticipated exclusive in which Simone reprises iconic classics of her mother, Dr. Nina Simone, as only she can.

From the bewitching weave cast by I Put a Spell on You, to the gutsy anthem Feelin’ Good, Simone, accompanied by an All-Star Big Band comprising some of Australia’s finest musicians, delivers a tour-de-force performance you’ve simply got to witness.

Commanding and beyond compare, there is a lushness to Simone’s voice that could best be described as transcendental…Lisa Simone is THE legacy.
